$413: Ether Rates Inside a Whisker of All-Time High

$413: Ether Prices Within a Whisker of All-Time High

Update: Ether hit a new all-time value higher of&nbsp$414.90 at around 15:48 UTC today.

The value of ether, ethereum’s native token, is closing in on record highs above $400.

Soon before press time, the world’s second biggest cryptocurrency by market capitalization had hit $413 – a whisker quick of ether’s all-time higher of just more than $414 set in mid-June.

As per CoinMarketCap, the ether-U.S. dollar (ETH/USD) exchange price has appreciated by 12.61 % in the last 24 hours. Week-on-week, ETH is up 24 %, although on a month-to-month basis, it is up 43.33 percent.

As detailed in CoinDesk’s&nbspearlier update, it looks as although ETH is still celebrating&nbspreports of upcoming access to its personal regulated derivatives market.

Meanwhile, comments on social media indicate investors are busy assessing the influence of the surge in transaction volume in the last 24 hours. Ethereum is reportedly processing much more transactions a day than all other cryptocurrencies combined.

And, of course, it can not be hurting that billionaire Mike Novogratz&nbspcommented yesterday that ether could hit $500 by the end of the year.
